If there’s one thing Moroccans truly enjoy, it’s posing for photographs in front of cars, particularly cars that do not belong to them.
In general, Moroccans love to take photographs of themselves. A Moroccan on vacation may very well ask you to take his photograph – one, two, twenty times, to ensure you get the proper angle. He may also simply take his own picture of himself – arm extended, head at a funny angle. MySpace is full of such photographs.

When a Moroccan decides to take a photograph with a car, the car must be high end, something rare to Morocco (if he’s based in Morocco) like a BMW or Rolls Royce. He must pose with the car as if it were his own, even leaning on the car if possible, though in recent years, this practice has become rare given the high number of car alarm systems.
